Prayer
of Recomittment
Been struggling lately? Have you slipped away from your relationship with Jesus? We all do from time to time, but today, you can repent and get back up and get rid of all the guilt and condemnation the enemy has brought against you.
Prayer:
Dear God, I know I've strayed from the path of righteousness, disobeyed your calling, and have outright sinned before you. But Lord, I'm asking now that you would forgive me for everything I've done to hurt you and my walk with you, and that you would restore me, and make me a stronger, more bolder witness for Christ than I've ever been. I recommit my life to you now Lord and I ask you to be the Lord and Master of my life. I thank you for it, Lord. In Jesus name Amen.
Congratulations!
If you prayed that prayer, you're back in right standing with God, in fellowship with Jesus, free from all sin, empowered to do God's mighty work that He has placed in your heart, and will spend eternity in heaven!
*4 Things That Will Keep You Committed*
-Pray--the Bible tells us to pray all kinds of prayers and without ceasing (I talk to God all day long and you can too--he'll save you from a mess of trouble
-Read God's Word--the Bible is filled with everything you need to prosper in this life (spiritually, physically, emotionally, and even financially), so make sure you're reading and meditating on the Word daily
-Fellowship--to stay strong in the Lord and the power of His might, we need to fellowship with other believers. If you've stopped going to church, now's a great time to start going again and make some better friends. The Bible tells us that bad company corrupts good morals. So make sure you're hanging out with who God wants you to hang out with.
-Testify--share your testimony with others. Tell them how you got saved, maybe even how you've fallen, but also how God has restored you, forgiven you, and made you the person you are today. The Bible tells us that people are saved by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of our Testimony--just think of how many other people will be saved because of your testimony. We, for one, would love to hear your testimony, so why not take a few moments and click here to share it.
